Highlights

A technical program combining a factory tour of Kawasaki Heavy Industries Gifu Works and a visit to the Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum. The schedule divides participants into two groups to visit the factory and the museum in rotation. Chartered bus transportation and two staff members who serve as guides/interpreters will accompany the tour.

Lunch (boxed meal, Japanese style) will be provided in a Kawasaki Heavy Industries meeting room.

    Participants will be split into two groups for 90-minute sessions:
    • Group 1: Kawasaki Heavy Industries Gifu Works
    • Group 2: Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum

    Lunch in a Kawasaki Heavy Industries meeting room (boxed meal, 60 minutes)
  • 13:00
    Afternoon rotation (90 minutes)
    • Group 1: Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum
    • Group 2: Kawasaki Heavy Industries Gifu Works

Notes / Important Information

  • Eligibility: Only ISIE2026 registrants (including accompanying persons) are eligible. Students welcome.
  • Capacity: Maximum 35 participants. (Minimum number of participants: 10) Registration is currently CLOSED.
  • Weather: The program will proceed in rain; however, it may be canceled in the case of severe weather. If canceled, registration fees will not be refunded.
  • Grouping: Participants will be assigned to groups by the organizer; requests may not be accommodated.
  • Meals: Lunch is provided as a boxed Japanese-style meal. Allergy-related special meals cannot be accommodated — participants with special dietary needs should make their own arrangements.
  • Cancellation: We will be flexible in accommodating cancellations due to the conference program. If you need to cancel, please update your registration by May 31st (JST).
