At Mt. Tarumae, an active volcano, participants will visit Sabo facilities and observe measures implemented following the 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake. The excursion also includes a visit to Upopoy (National Ainu Museum and Park) to learn about the culture of the indigenous Ainu people of Hokkaido. |
